to wholehearted living

Certified Christian Life Coach, speaker, survivor, and your partner on the journey from hidden pain

Hey y’all, I’m Kisha!

At least that’s my story

The Spring of 2016 was a pivotal point in my life both personally and spiritually. No one could have told me before then that my thoughts and mindset toward climbing the corporate ladder would change, or that my love for Christ could be any stronger than it already was. Since then, however, I’ve found there aren’t enough words to express my feelings toward Him and His love for me and where He is leading me.

L.I.F.E. – it’s amazing! And when you grow to learn and understand God’s plan and purpose for your life, it just gets sweeter.

I’ve been a Human Resources professional in the corporate arena for over 22 years

where I consistently listen to, support, and develop others on many levels. I’ve always had a passion for communications, public speaking, and supporting other people, and I’ve come to realize the Lord was (and still is) developing me to be all He designed me to be utilizing those skills.

The Lord has dealt with me on many emotional levels as He’s sought to get my attention and support me through overcoming a hidden blemish I had tucked away with the hope it would disappear and no longer resurface. I tried to ignore the Lord’s call on several occasions and made every attempt to disregard what happened to me as I tried to cover the hurt, pain, and scars that childhood sexual abuse left inside me.

But my attempt to deal with it on my own wasn’t what God wanted or intended for me.

That is why I am sharing my story differently today.

We all have a story to tell about who we are and what we’ve overcome.

That is why I am sharing my story differently
today.

Psalm 147:3 states,

“He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.” (CSB).

My relationship with Christ has consistently grown.

Through breaking me down, loving me, guiding me, and building me back up, the Lord showed me that He wanted to use my story of overcoming and my career experience to benefit others who have survived similar circumstances by encouraging them to move forward in the most joyful and empowering way possible.

That is how I was called to become a coach.

I’m at a point in life where nothing matters more to me than loving God, serving Him, and supporting others. I’ve realized that is my ultimate purpose and God’s ultimate plan for my life.

That is exactly what the Lord was attempting to do for me, but I wasn’t allowing Him the opportunity to do so. Vivid memories brought about emotional trauma regarding my past and led me to seek help. That, along with God’s love and support has helped me to heal from years of abuse.

My life coaching call is to support women

The kind that may have left a mixture of bitterness, resentment, hurt, shame, and feeling like it’s their fault - which hinders forward progress in their lives. The core problems my clients have are a lack of self-confidence and low self-esteem, coupled with a need for spiritual direction, work/life integration, and purpose.

who desire to find their life’s purpose by overcoming some of their most challenging and discouraging events.

These issues are typically the result of many kinds of abuse: sexual, domestic, mental, physical, emotional, spiritual…

  • Some of my clients have overcome traumatic situations and are now seeking support and/or assistance with direction for what’s next in their lives.
  • They want to discover and serve in the area of their purpose but may lack the encouragement or confidence to do so.
  • Some have low self-esteem and lack confidence because they’ve always compared themselves to others, specifically other women they believe are “better off”.
  • These women haven’t yet figured out who they are and whose they are in Christ.
  • They continue to attempt to live a life that’s not their own or don’t understand how to be happy with who they were created to be.

I have lived a similar painful experience but have found my life’s purpose and now live a fulfilled life providing faith-based, inspirational

Using transparent communication, I guide others along and affirm that they were “fearfully and wonderfully made.” (Psalm 139:14). My clients benefit through an authentic, joy-filled, personal development experience that changes their lives for the better and confirms that they are able to be amazing, just as the Lord created them to be!
I am specifically called to support the women who are perceived to “have it all together”... they look the part, act the part, speak the part, and appear to role model excellence. But deep down, there’s more to who they are, there’s something missing, there’s more they are seeking, and there’s more behind their story.

They just need a little tenderness and to acknowledge whose they are to be confident in who they are, and seek to live their lives on purpose.

The Lord has us all on a journey and we all have something to overcome.

My calling to be a life coach is to help my clients realize they have power, knowledge, beauty, experience, and fervor to move their lives forward and succeed.
